Martin Levy is the founder of CorpStrat/Corporate Strategies. Located in Woodland Hills, California, the firm provides planning to thousands of professionals and business owners. The firm ranks as one of Southern California’s largest brokerages and is a leading producer for several financial service insurance companies.
For more than 30 years, Marty has worked in financial services in the San Fernando Valley. His goal is, and has always been, to help clients develop a plan to achieve their goals, protect their most valuable assets, and to create plans and paths to ensure financial success. This goal is at the cornerstone of the firm and the longstanding client relationships that have been established.
Marty is a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and a Registered Health Underwriter (RHU). He is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), the National Association of Life Underwriters (NALU) and the Certified Senior Advisor (CSA).
Here's what Marty said about what he's learned in the industry and his approach to financial strategies:
"After 30 years working in the business, I find it unfortunate many professionals and business owners continue spending so much time and energy creating assets, while spending little, if any, on strategies to protect those assets. It’s my goal to help those people manage their assets, using various insurance products so they can build a more secure financial future.
Although some people do not naturally embrace insurance products, I often ask clients to look at how some of the wealthiest people manage their own finances. In my experience, the most successful and confident people do one simple thing: They identify their exposures and guard against their greatest risks -- specifically death, disability, outliving assets and erosion of assets due to inflation and longevity -- using sophisticated financial services.
Longevity will be a significant challenge for everyone. This places significant strains on savings and mandates that people explore ways to assure and insulate their assets.
We want people to know that achieving financial goals and confidence during retirement is attainable."

The services we provide help people take care of themselves and the ones they love -- their spouses, partners, children, grandchildren, business partners, charities and employees.
Having been in the financial services industry for nearly 30 years, I have come to realize that most people who are nearing retirement -- and some who have already retired -- haven’t planned sufficiently for themselves and those they love. Most people tell me they wish they would have planned better and taken the extra time to ensure they had proper coverage, instead of living for today and putting off the necessary plans. What is interesting is that if a younger person simply gets in the game and implements a plan early on, it is far easier to plan for the future.
Since it is reasonable to believe that we can be in retirement for as long as -- or even longer than -- the length of years of we actually work, it is even more critical to address this issue. We want people to know that achieving financial goals and confidence during retirement is attainable."
